Who we are

Transport that is planned, not hoped for.

Most staff transport runs off a spreadsheet and somebody's memory. Ours runs off a routing engine that resolves who travels, groups them into vehicles, and refuses to dispatch a van it cannot physically get back in time.

  • Every passenger is accounted for. Anyone left off a route is a named exception with a stated reason — never a silent drop.
  • Routes are solved, not guessed. Fewest vehicle trips first, then fewest kilometres — so your invoice comes down, not just your mileage.
  • A coordinator can always overrule it. Manual fixes are stored instructions, replayed onto every fresh plan — they survive a re-run.
  • Drivers get a drop list they tick off. You can see where a vehicle is in its run without phoning anyone.

Two ways to travel with us

For the company, and for the commuter.

Employers put a whole shift on a managed route. Individuals buy a seat on one for a flat monthly fee. Same vehicles, same drivers, same standard.

Employee transport, fully managed

Give your team a way home that does not depend on a rank at 23:00. We plan the routes, run the fleet, and hand you a per-trip invoice you can actually check.

A monthly seat, in your name

One flat fee, one reserved seat, collected at your door. From R1 500 a month one direction, or R2 500 for home to work and back again.

  • No surge pricing, ever — the fee is the fee
  • Same driver and vehicle on your route
  • Cancel or change a day before the 17:00 cut-off

How it works

Four steps, every working day.

The whole system exists to answer one question before you leave your desk: who is taking me home, and when.

1

Book your seat

Say you are travelling tonight, and where from. Standing bookings mean regulars never have to think about it.

2

17:00 cut-off, plan locks

The roster resolves, routes are solved and vehicles are assigned. Anyone excluded is flagged by name, with a reason.

3

Your driver gets the drop list

A named driver, a named vehicle, and the order of stops — with your address on it, snapshotted so a late edit cannot change a sheet already on the road.

4

Door to door, ticked off

Each drop is marked as it happens. The coordinator sees the run complete without phoning a single vehicle.

What are you paying to get home right now?

Put in what your commute actually costs. We will show you the honest comparison — including the times our package costs more than what you pay today.

R

One direction. A typical Cape Town e-hail across town runs R90–R180; a minibus taxi R20–R35.

Which trips do you need?

One direction is the R1 500 Standard package. Both is R2 500 Premium.

Figures use 4.33 weeks a month. Package prices are fixed monthly fees, not per-trip rates — they do not surge, and they do not change with the petrol price.

Why choose TransportPlus

The things that matter after dark.

Drivers you can name

Every driver is vetted, licence- and PrDP-checked, and tied to the vehicle on your drop list. You are never handed to whoever happened to be at the rank.

Dropped at your door

Not at a corner, not at a rank. The stop carries a snapshot of your address so the sheet in the vehicle stays true even if the record changes later.

A van that can get back

The fleet clock refuses to promise a slot a vehicle cannot physically return from in time. A route we cannot run is one we do not sell you.

Billed per trip, not per promise

Trip count is the invoice. Kilometres are only ever the tiebreak, so shorter routes do not quietly become more vehicles.

Nobody is silently dropped

If someone cannot be routed, they are surfaced as a named exception with a stated reason — so a coordinator fixes it before 17:00, not at 22:00.

Overrides that survive a re-run

When a coordinator moves someone by hand, it is stored as an instruction and replayed onto every future plan. Fix it once.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What is the difference between the R1 500 and R2 500 packages?

Standard at R1 500 a month covers one direction every working day — either home to work, or work to home, whichever you need. Premium at R2 500 covers both: home to work in the morning and work to home at night. Both are flat monthly fees.

Is a package cheaper than taking a minibus taxi?

Usually not, on price alone — and our calculator will tell you so rather than hide it. A taxi at R25 a trip works out around R1 080 a month for two trips a day. What the package buys is a reserved seat, a vetted driver, a tracked trip and a drop at your door instead of a walk from the rank. Against e-hailing, the package is dramatically cheaper.

What time is the cut-off, and can I cancel?

17:00 on the day. Book, change or cancel any time before then and the plan absorbs it. After 17:00 the routes are solved and the vehicles are assigned, so a late change has to go through a coordinator.

Do you supply the vehicles, or just the software?

Both, and you can take either. We run our own fleet for commuter packages and most business contracts. If you already have a transport contractor, we can run the planning, routing and dispatch layer over your existing vehicles.

How late do you run?

Our standard nightly collection slots are 19:00, 20:00, 21:00 and 23:00. Business contracts can set their own slots around shift-end times.

Can I become a driver on my own vehicle?

Yes. Drivers opt in to the routes they want to run — home to office in the morning, office to home at night, or both. You need a valid licence, a PrDP, and a roadworthy vehicle that passes our inspection. Apply here.
